Oh boy is it. Being a third wheel either can be great, or a nightmare. It all depends on the couple you're with. On one end of the spectrum you have the couple who should have broken up years ago. They seem to detest each other, and everything out of each of their mouths is just scathing insults at each other and the brink of fighting. And then you have the couple who's just too lovey dovey. Get a room you two! It's not polite, but you know they just can't help it.
